Eataly Flatiron Restaurants: Which One to Book and When
Eataly NYC Flatiron has seven restaurants at 200 Fifth Avenue: La Pizza & La Pasta, AMALFI Rooftop by BIRRERIA, La Piazza, Bar Milano, Il Pastaio, Il Pesce and Il Patio. Five of them show a Book Your Table button on Eataly’s own listing, while La Piazza and Il Pastaio do not, and all seven are listed as open daily, with the latest close at 10:30pm at La Pizza & La Pasta. Everything below was read from Eataly’s Flatiron restaurants page, each room’s own page and its menu PDFs in October 2026.
Which Eataly Flatiron restaurants take reservations?
La Pizza & La Pasta, AMALFI, Bar Milano, Il Pesce and Il Patio carry the button on the listing page, and Il Patio’s own page shows a booking form as of October 2026. La Piazza and Il Pastaio carry no button, and their own pages show no form either. A missing button is not a stated walk-in policy, and the pages say nothing about walk-ins, cancellations or deposits, so call the Flatiron store at (212) 229-2560 before planning around either room.
All seven rooms share 200 Fifth Avenue, New York, NY 10010. Hours below are each room’s own, as of October 2026.

Five rooms open at 11am and two, Bar Milano and Il Patio, at noon. Five close at 10pm, La Pizza & La Pasta at 10:30pm and Il Patio at 9pm or 9:30pm. The 7am to 11pm hours on the Flatiron store page belong to the store: no restaurant here opens before 11am or lists a close after 10:30pm. For a kitchen still serving later on the Gramercy side, Gramercy restaurants open late compares the options.
For larger parties, the AMALFI, Bar Milano and La Piazza menu PDFs each print a 20% gratuity on parties of 6 or more, and the booking form’s party sizes end at “7+.” The AMALFI and La Pizza & La Pasta pages send larger celebrations to nyc.privatedining@eataly.com, while Bar Milano’s page lists privatedining@eataly.com, so use the address on the room’s own page.
What are the best Eataly Flatiron restaurants for each kind of meal?
Best for a long dinner: Bar Milano
Bar Milano opens at noon and closes at 10pm daily. Eataly’s page describes Northern Italian cooking in a mid-century Milanese room and calls it “the quiet table when the market floor is loud,” “better for a long dinner than a quick one.” Its main menu, updated 2026.10.08, lists Ravioli di Zucca at 29 dollars, Chitarra ai Funghi at 39 dollars and a bone-in Cotoletta alla Milanese at 67 dollars.
Best for counter pasta and aperitivo: Il Pastaio and La Piazza
Il Pastaio’s page describes pasta rolled and cut at the counter and served by the bowlful: “Quick but nothing about it is fast food.” It has no booking button and a weekday lunch window from 11am to 5pm. La Piazza’s page invites guests to “order as you go and stay as long as the table lasts.” Its main menu, dated 2026.10.15, lists fior di latte mozzarella at 9 dollars and burrata at 12 dollars. The page also lists live music every Friday from 5 to 8pm.
Best for seafood: Il Pesce
Il Pesce’s page lists a rotating oyster selection every day and a catch of the day served crudo, pan-seared or roasted. It shows a booking button.
Best for the latest close: La Pizza & La Pasta
La Pizza & La Pasta is the bookable room that stays open longest, to 10:30pm every day. Eataly’s page says the pizzaioli work in the open in front of the wood-burning oven, with the pasta shaped a few steps away. Its weekday lunch is covered below.
Is there a quick Italian lunch at Eataly Flatiron?
Yes. Six of the seven rooms list a lunch window, and only Bar Milano does not. Five name Monday to Friday: La Pizza & La Pasta, Il Pastaio and Il Pesce run 11am to 5pm, a six-hour window, La Piazza runs 11am to 3pm, four hours, and Il Patio runs noon to 3pm, three hours. AMALFI lists an “Italian Lunch” from 11am to 5pm without naming days.
La Pizza & La Pasta is the only page that describes the format: a prix fixe two-course menu with “salads, pastas, and everything in between.” No lunch price appears on the pages or in the menu PDFs read for this guide, so confirm it before booking. Il Pastaio shares the 11am to 5pm window but shows no booking button, while La Pizza & La Pasta and Il Pesce share it and show one.
Nearby, fixed prices are published for dinner rather than lunch: Prix fixe dinner in Gramercy: what each menu costs compares three of those menus.
Where is happy hour at Eataly Flatiron?
Three rooms run one, all from 3pm to 6pm. AMALFI runs Monday to Friday and labels its happy hour menu “bar only.” Bar Milano runs Monday to Friday as an aperitivo alla Milanese. La Piazza runs every day, which makes 21 hours a week against 15 for the other two. The La Piazza and Bar Milano pages carry no bar-only label.
The happy hour PDFs show the prices. A Cappelletti spritz is 10 dollars on all three menus, and a negroni is 12 dollars at La Piazza and 12 to 14 dollars at Bar Milano. La Piazza also says cocktails and wine start at $10. AMALFI’s PDF adds weekly combos, from Caviar & Champagne at $60 on Monday down to $18 on Thursday and Friday. For the wider neighborhood, seven Gramercy happy hour windows are compared by day and by where each applies. That list includes only AMALFI from Eataly, so its line that only Il Fiorista runs every day describes those seven; La Piazza’s daily window, on Eataly’s own page as of October 2026, sits outside it.
What time does AMALFI Rooftop open at Eataly Flatiron?
AMALFI opens at 11am and closes at 10pm, Monday to Sunday. Italian Lunch runs 11am to 5pm and brunch runs Saturday and Sunday from 11am to 3:30pm, with an “open-air rooftop atmosphere.” The page places the room “fourteen floors up” and says it “stays open when the weather turns.”
Is Il Patio open in the cold months?
Eataly’s pages do not settle it. The listing page calls Il Patio “your summer sanctuary in the heart of the city.” Il Patio’s own page says “Tables outside, full menu, all season” and lists hours of noon to 9pm Sunday to Thursday and noon to 9:30pm Friday and Saturday. Neither page gives a closing date. The main menu PDF linked from Il Patio’s page carries the date 2026.08.03, while Bar Milano’s main menu is marked updated 2026.10.08. Treat it as unconfirmed for a cold evening and ask the store at (212) 229-2560 first.
How these rooms were compared
Rooms are compared only on what Eataly publishes, and the booking count reflects buttons and forms on the pages, not table availability. Not published: the weekday lunch price, a walk-in policy, cancellation terms, Il Patio’s season and the days of AMALFI’s Italian Lunch. Menu prices are as printed on the dates noted and can change.
